CXB-750D / MCS-7078 X-ray Tube

The CXB-750D X-ray tube (and its Varex/Richardson equivalent—MCS-7078D or ALTA750) is one of the most widely used CT X-ray tubes on the market and offers broad compatibility. It is designed exclusively for CT scanners manufactured by Toshiba / Canon Medical Systems.

Technical specifications:

• Maximum tube voltage: 135 kV (supports scan modes: 80, 100, 120, and 135 kV).
• Maximum tube current: Up to 500–600 mA.
• Anode heat capacity: 7.5 MHU (million heat units).
• Cooling rate: Up to 1,008–1,386 kHU/min.
• Anode rotation speed: Dual-speed operation at 3,600 or 6,600 rpm (depending on focal spot selection and tube current).
