Project execution stages

Design and site preparation

During the initial phase, our engineers conducted a comprehensive assessment of the facility in Bershad. Working closely with the client’s technical team, we developed the technical specifications for the specialized MRI suite infrastructure. Since the system is based on a permanent magnet, particular attention was given to the following:

  • Faraday cage installation: installation of RF shielding to ensure optimal signal quality and protection from external electromagnetic interference
  • Power supply: installation of industrial-grade uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to protect the MRI system’s sensitive electronics
  • Ventilation: installation of a climate control system to maintain a stable room temperature, which is critical for consistent magnetic field performance

Installation and commissioning

Once the site was fully prepared, the Deliver Medical engineering team completed the full scope of technical work:

  • Installation: installation of the Hitachi Airis Vento open MRI system and precise positioning of the patient table
  • Commissioning: system commissioning, magnetic field homogeneity calibration, and software configuration
  • IT integration: integration of diagnostic workstations and medical printers into the facility’s local network
  • Training: staff training covering operation of the open MRI system and the Hitachi user interface

Why this equipment was selected

The Hitachi Airis Vento 0.3T MRI system was the ideal choice for this healthcare facility in Bershad thanks to its unique advantages:

  • Open architecture: an ideal solution for patients with claustrophobia, pediatric patients, and bariatric patients, providing maximum comfort during MRI examinations
  • Cost efficiency: the permanent magnet design eliminates the need for costly cryogenic maintenance and liquid helium, significantly reducing operating expenses
  • High reliability: Hitachi’s renowned Japanese engineering ensures dependable performance even under demanding daily patient volumes
