  • Model: Siemens MAGNETOM Avanto

Project execution stages

1. Design and site preparation

The project began with a comprehensive engineering assessment of the Into-Sana clinic facilities. Working closely with the client’s technical team, we developed detailed technical specifications for the MRI suite and its supporting infrastructure. According to the agreed scope of responsibilities, the clinic completed the following critical infrastructure works:

  • Faraday cage installation: Installation of RF shielding to eliminate external electromagnetic interference.
  • Cooling systems: Installation of high-capacity chillers to maintain stable operating temperatures for the magnet’s cryogenic system and gradient coils.
  • Power supply: Installation of industrial-grade uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to protect against power fluctuations and ensure the safe completion of imaging procedures.
  • Ventilation: Installation of a specialized ventilation system designed to meet stringent healthcare standards.

2. Installation and commissioning

Once the site was approved for installation, our engineering team proceeded with the main implementation phase:

  • Installation: Precise installation and positioning of the magnet, patient table, and supporting system components.
  • Commissioning: Cryogenic servicing (if required), system calibration, software configuration, and validation of all imaging protocols.
  • System launch: Final image quality verification (phantom scanning) followed by handover of a fully operational MRI system to the clinical staff.

3. Why this equipment was selected

For the Into-Sana network, high patient throughput and uncompromising clinical performance were the top priorities. The selected MRI system delivers:

  • Maximum reliability: Designed to support continuous high-volume clinical operation, 24/7.
  • Faster diagnostics: Advanced image reconstruction technologies significantly reduce scan times and improve patient comfort.
  • Cost efficiency: An optimal balance between service costs and long-term clinical performance.
